How do we win the hearts of Indonesian youth?
Our Indonesian youth are globetrotters, seeking better quality of life and job opportunities abroad. The magical thing about home, though? It always feels good to leave, but feels better to return.
Let’s reconnect them with the warmth and joy of home by bringing them home with Indomie.
In collaboration with Indonesian embassies, Indomie feasts will be organised in countries such as Malaysia, Japan and Netherlands with strong Indonesian youth presence.
Indonesian masterchefs will serve up 3 courses of Indomie-inspired meals at these feasts. And the best surprise of all? One of these meals will contain an open flight ticket home.

With FIND ME, INDOMIE, we’ll have these KVs placed strategically in cities/ areas with strong Indonesian presence. It’ll literally be EVERYWHERE.
Each KV will have a cut out outline of an Indomie packet and will contain half a QR code.
After purchasing an Indomie packet from an Indonesian mart nearby, Indo GenZs will place the other half of the QR code over the outline.
By scanning the now pieced-together QR code, they can participate in an online raffle and stand a chance to win first dibs on limited edition flavours.
By switching up their perception of Indomie from basic to innovative, by giving them each their own 3D-printed Indomie. We set up edible 3D printing pop-up booths all over Indonesia.
At these pop-up booths, they key in their preferences and watch as their customised Indomie combinations get 3D printed.
Indomie will be the first instant noodle company to 3D print edible food, advancing food innovation and paving the way for IndoGenZ’s food future.
To create hype and raise awareness about Indomie’s edible 3D printing ventures, we’ll create installations that make use of 3D art styles.
A dope moment for Indofood, and for the world.
By helping them realise the degree of attachment they have to Indomie, when it’s actually gone. We prank Gen Z influencers into thinking that they are there for the new launch of an Indomie item.
We’ll get them to start recording IG/ Tiktok Live while doing so.
At the “launch”, we’ll announce that they are, in fact, there for their last ever supper with Indomie. We start capturing people’s reactions, on social media, in stores, everywhere.
After a week of “mourning” and “scramble buying”, we hold a press conference, announce that this is all just a big, big prank and launch an entirely new packaging.
Executed with a more “youthful” collectible-like packaging, Indomie is reborn (again).
